Terms & Conditions
The Session fee pays for photographer’s time and artistic vision only. The Petite Session Fee includes a dedicated amount of digital images. Luxury Session Collection prices and a la carte prices are separate from session fees.
In order to hold your appointment, the session fee retainer must be received at the time of booking. The session fee is non-refundable but we will reschedule once if difficulty arises. Please notify us at least 48 hours before the photo session if you must reschedule. If the weather isn’t agreeable on the day of the session, we will gladly reschedule to another day.
Payment of any order is due in full when you place the order. All sales are final. There are no returns on prints or digitals or albums; no exceptions.
Copyright: The Federal Copyright Law protects copyright. It is unlawful to copy or scan any images without permission of the photographer. Even though the pictures may be of you or your child, the photographer still owns the copyright to the image. In order to control the quality of the work produced, the photographer is the only one who can crop, modify, order any image produced at this photo session. The photographer retains the copyright and ownership of all images of the photo session and reserves the right to reproduce images for portfolio, studio display, gallery display, website, self-promotion, photo contests, etc. This includes taking screen shots of gallery images and displaying them on Facebook until that digital image has been purchased.
Clients are not allowed to reproduce any images produced by the photographer for any purpose, unless the digital image(s) have been purchased and an authorization to reproduce form has been assigned to the client. Editing by the client is not allowed on digital images – reference the Copyright section above.
Model Release: I hereby consent that the photographs taken and presented by this photographer may be used by Jessica Tanner Photography, for the purpose of display, portfolio, advertising, website or publication to promote the studio/her. I also agree that the images can be used without additional compensation to the undersigned. I am of full age and have the right to contract in my own name. I have read the foregoing and fully understand the contents thereof. This release shall be binding upon me and my heirs, legal representatives, and assigns. I have legal authority to grant these permissions and I accept all responsibilities for such.
Limited Liability: If the Photographer cannot perform this Agreement due to a fire or other casualty, strike, act of nature or other cause beyond the control of the parties involved (including inclement weather), or due to illness of Photographer, then any deposit will be returned to the Client but the Photographer shall have no further liability with respect to the Agreement. If the Client wishes, another sitting can be scheduled. This limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the Photographer. In such cases of outside circumstances, the Photographer is not liable and the Client shall only be entitled to a refund of their deposit and sitting fee (if paid to the Photographer).
